Building on a Long History in the Solar Industry

ACCIONA Solar Power, a subsidiary of ACCIONA Energy, designed, developed, built and operates Nevada Solar One, which is located in Boulder City, NV.  Nevada Solar One is the first concentrating solar power plant built in the last 17 years, and the third largest plant of its kind in the world. 

In 2006, ACCIONA Energy purchased a 55 percent stake in Solargenix, the company that initiated the Nevada Solar One plant.  This company ultimately became ACCIONA Solar Power.  ACCIONA Energy is the majority owner of the Nevada Solar One, with a 95 percent stake in the plant.
