As Executive Director, Corporate Development and Strategy, for ACCIONA Energy, Mr. De Miguel is responsible for the company’s International Development division. This division, at the end of 2007, had
installed 806 MW, with 649 MW under construction. More than 15,000 MW was under development outside of Spain, with activities underway in 20 countries, on five continents.

Mr. De Miguel maintains a profound knowledge of the renewable energies’ market around the world and has led ACCIONA Energy’s international expansion from its earliest days.

Prior to joining ACCIONA Energy in 1999, Mr. De Miguel held a number of executive-level positions in several leading companies such as Azcoyen Comercial Internacional S.A., and Siemens S.A.

Mr. De Miguel has a masters degree in General Management PDG from IESE Business School, University of Navarra. He also earned two bachelor degrees in Industrial Ingeniering from University of Navarra and in Telecommunication Engineering from Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Mr. De Miguel is married and is the father of two daughters.
